Q & A
How do you work?
I see the photographic process as a collaboration. With that in mind I’m
open to any ideas you may have about location, look and feel, and so on. Remember
that I am there to help us both make great pictures so don't be shy about contributing
ideas and asking questions.
What services do you offer?
I mostly take portraits of pregnant women, babies, children, and families.
I help web designers obtain quick and original photographs for their clients
and not-for-profits come to me requesting photographs for newsletters, flyers,
websites, and the media.
What will happen during the photo shoot?
Before the photo shoot we'll have a chat about your vision and expectations.
Why are the pictures being taken? Who is the audience? Depending on the location,
we'll either meet outside at one of the many terrific Vancouver locales or inside
at your home, office or you can come to my home studio. The photo shoot usually
takes an hour to an hour and a half. We’ll move through about three different
set-ups.
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably by wearing what feels good to you. Clothes that are the same
colour or style usually work best. No patterns, stripes or polka dots please
as they take away from the main attraction: you! Don’t wear more make-up
or jewelry than usual. Make sure everyone is well-rested and well-fed. Bring
a change of clothes or any props that have a special significance and that you
think could add another dimension to the photographs.
When will I see the pictures?
Generally it takes about two weeks for photographs to be processed while prints
may take another two weeks.
How do I book a session?
